Persistence, the power of continual effort

I am often asked by people what is motivation, how to stay inspired? Many a times they ask me why is this website named Inspire2rise. Inspire2rise is an idea, that anyone can be anything. They can do anything. As long as they believe and as long as they work on something with due diligence, persistence and full effort.

“You are only limited by the limits you set up for yourself!”

More often that not we find that it’s really difficult to start something new and to try to be better at it. Or even pursue the thought of excelling at it. This makes a lot of people loose heart and they stop the new activity and recede back to their old schedule. The walls of conformity make people feel comfortable but this is the one source of comfort that is detrimental to any real progress in life. So how do you beat the blues? How do you make sure that no matter what you stay on the right track?

I found one solution to this question a long time ago. I call it…

ONE MORE.

“Write one more poem. Sing one more song. Go to your work with full passion one more day. Pick up the guitar one more time. Publish one more post. Just keep the flow going.”

Persistence: One more time.

The philosophy of “One more” as I call it, made even humongous tasks look really small. This way I didn’t see my goal as becoming a great blogger or great reviewer. The only thing that was visible was that

“No matter what happens, you hit that ‘Publish’ button everyday.”

You just have to do the thing you want to excel at, one more time. Every time you are about to give up on something which you think means the world to you and can definitely change everything just say to yourself, “just one more time!” And go on with your business as usual. Keep at it.
