What would be the background score of my life?

If this life was just like the one showed in movies then what would be the background score? Well that’s a fascinating question and definitely elicits an equally fascinating reply from my side. It won’t be a single track, it would rather be a mashup of a lot of great tracks, which I will post one by one here and also give the reasons as to why I would have that track as a theme for my life! Some of these tracks I have found over the years and some have left a deep imprint on me. Some of these tracks require a very deep level of comprehension to grasp the true meaning while some tracks are just instrumental music. Some of these tracks are created by me on my own, and some are just great works of music just waiting to be discovered by the whole world! So without much ado let me just begin the ideal background score that I would want in my life!

The Soundtrack for my life: Pieces of the background score.

1.) Hans Zimmer OSTs for The Dark Knight trilogy

Hans Zimmer is da bomb. PERIOD.

This music has kept me awake for nights giving me hope and motivation to do something more than what I might be physically and mentally capable of. The Dark Knight trilogy was one of the defining points in cinema for me. Christopher Nolan’s rendition of Batman is the best, because of the fact that he is so human and understands that others are too. So he doesn’t judge them or hold grudges. He does what’s his duty and does so with great passion.

This is the music I would have wanted in my life’s score whenever I was doing something great or awesome.

2.) Jesper Kyd’s OST for Assassin’s Creed 2

Assassin’s Creed 2 was one of the best games of the yester years and the soundtrack was mind blowing. It transported you to a different world altogether. I would want this to be the soundtrack of my life when I am doing nothing and just relaxing, sitting or spending some quality time with my family or meeting my loved ones.

The kind of ambient soundtrack that always keeps playing in the back of your head!

3.) Nirvana – Rape Me

Though the title of the song feels quite bad but the intrinsic meaning of the song is too deep and is actually anti-rape. I would want to have this song in the sound track of my life whenever I feel harrowed, criticized and humiliated!

4.) Arijit Singh – Illahi

This is a very beautiful song and whenever I feel full of life the tune comes instantly to my lips. So it should definitely be in the soundtrack of my life!

5.) Kal Ho Naa ho – Sonu Nigam

This is one song that is a timeless melody. I want this to be played to all those I love when I am about to leave this world, so that they are reminded that life goes on and no matter what it’s today that counts and we should make the most of it!

6.) Dying Everyday – By me

This is my first composition and always close to my heart, I can never have a complete soundtrack of my life without this song!

Right now these are all that I can think of but as I find more appropriate music that resonates with me on a deep level I will keep on adding them to this life soundtrack post!
