According to the Japanese news site ASCII reports, AMD began selling in Japan the Ryzen 5 3500 processor. This processor was only on the original OEM shipments but has now started selling via retail.
According to reports, the price of Ryzen 5 3500 is 16,148 yen including tax. This comes to roughly about 11,000 rupees. There’s info online that because the Ryzen 5 3500 is only open to OEMs, AMD’s official website does not have the parameters/details of this processor.
According to foreign tech media reports, the Ryzen 5 3500 has 6 cores and 6 threads, 3.6GHz base clock and 4.1GHz boost clock. It will have a 65W TDP and 16MB L3 cache. In contrast, AMD’s Ryzen 5 3500X currently on sale is also 3.6-4.1GHz, but the L3 cache on that one is 32MB.
It’s known that the AMD Ryzen 5 3500X is currently priced at 1099 yuan or around 11-12K INR. If the Ryzen 5 3500 is sold in China (and later India), the price may be 900-1000 yuan or roughly around 10-11,000 INR.
