According to reputed tech publication 9to5mac, a new framework called “FinHealth” appeared in the iOS 14.5 Beta code, which means that iOS 14.5 may introduce new financial health functions to remind users to improve the condition of their finances.

According to reports, the new FHSmart function will be able to use the machine learning function associated with the “wallet” application to automatically analyze user expenditures based on information such as merchants, recurring expenses, and irregular purchases, and make recommendations for users based on this to help users change their spending patterns and manage finances well.

We do understand that although iOS has many functions for protecting the privacy and financial health, these functions are currently only used for Apple Card. If Apple provides financial health functions to all iPhone users through the “Wallet” application, it will have a greater role.

Apple today released iOS developer preview version 14.5, in which an important new feature is the inclusion of worldwide support for the dual mode SIM card of 5G in iPhone 12 series. Earlier the function was only available in mainland China.

We know that most iPhone 12 models are equipped with both a physical SIM card slot and a digital eSIM support, this can achieve dual sim dual standby functions. Previously, except for mainland China, the dual sim mode only supported LTE networks, but now iOS 14.5 introduces support for dual sim 5G networks.

A Verizon internal presentation obtained by MacRumors once stated that Apple plans to enable 5G in dual-SIM mode by the end of 2020, so the arrival of this feature is a few months later than expected.

In other news, now finally iOS 14.4 update is out and brings some new changes for iPhone users.

After the release of the official version of iOS 14.4 on January 26, Apple has stopped verifying the previous version of iOS 14.3, which means that if you have already upgraded, you cannot downgrade from iOS 14.4 to iOS 14.3. In order to encourage users to keep the operating system updated, Apple often stops signing software updates for the old version after the new version comes out. iOS 14.4 introduced some security bug fixes. Apple said that these vulnerabilities may have been actively exploited, so if you haven’t updated yet, it’s better to update.

We also learned that Apple has also launched a beta version of iOS 14.5. iOS 14.5 is one of the biggest updates to iOS 14 so far. It introduces the function of unlocking the iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a mask. Apple has introduced compatibility with the latest game controllers and so on.
