Apple iPhone 17 Slim Leak: Central Camera, Thinner Design

Apple’s iPhone 17 Slim leaks reveal a central rear camera, thinner design, and higher price than Pro Max, possibly the rumored iPhone Ultra.

On May 18, technology media outlet The Information released a blog post revealing details about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Slim. The most significant change is the repositioning of the rear camera to the “top center” of the device.

Since the initial iPhone release in 2007, the rear camera has always been placed at the top left corner. If this change is implemented, it will be the most noticeable alteration in the iPhone series in 18 years.

It is still unclear how the camera layout will be configured, but Android phones like the Pixel 8 Pro and Huawei Mate 60 series offer similar designs.

The iPhone 17 Slim is expected to have a major redesign, with a price higher than the Pro Max model, potentially being the speculated iPhone Ultra.

Key features include a display between 6.1 and 6.7 inches (likely 6.5 inches), a significantly thinner design with an aluminum frame, a relocated rear camera, an improved front camera, a narrower Dynamic Island, and an A19 chip.
