Apple has officially released the second generation of iPhone SE. This phone is very similar to iPhone 8, let’s take a look at how they are the same and different.
The reason why the second generation of iPhone SE has been long-awaited is that people hope that this phone will become a more people-friendly iPhone, which Apple did. In addition, the new iPhone SE retains a compact size, which will attract many consumers who like this size.

The physical size of the new iPhone SE is the same as the iPhone 8, so there is no advantage in size and weight. The screen is also the same, which means both are using a 4.7-inch Retina HD screen with a resolution of 1334×740 and a resolution of 326ppi. But the new iPhone SE does not sport the 3D Touch function. Surprisingly, the new iPhone comes standard with the same EarPods headset with Lightning Connector interface as the iPhone 8.
The difference is that the new iPhone SE has dual SIM card support (not supported in some countries), and also supports Wi-Fi 6, 4G LTE-A has been upgraded to Gigabit-class LTE wireless network. It runs faster because the new iPhone SE is equipped with the A13 Bionic processor and the iPhone 8 is equipped with the A11 Bionic processor. The new SE has the same processor as the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. This low resolution combined with the new processor would mean that the iPhone SE 2020 will be the fastest of the lot!
Apple will never disclose how much RAM the new phone has, so we can only wait for the tests after we get the phone. However, compared to the 2GB RAM of the iPhone 8, the RAM capacity of the iPhone SE is estimated to be at least 3GB.
In addition, we have learned that although the new iPhone SE rear camera has been upgraded to the same camera as the iPhone 11, still there is no night mode, compared with iPhone 8, it adds a portrait mode, six effects of portrait lighting, and supports a new generation of smart-HDR photo. In addition, the new iPhone SE also adds the function of Apple pay.
