Upcoming Apple iPad Air to incorporate M3 chip, enhancing performance significantly over previous models with new features set for release.

On May 14, 2024, reports surfaced on Macrumors’ website that Apple’s next-generation iPad Air will feature the new M3 chip, according to a reliable source on the X platform.

This information comes shortly after Apple launched a new iPad Air model with an M2 chip, available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes.

The previous generation used an M1 chip in a 10.9-inch model.

Additionally, there were expectations for the new iPad Pro to incorporate the M3 chip, but Apple instead introduced it with an M4 chip.

Regarding future plans, rumors suggest Apple might introduce an iPad Air with a 10.8-inch OLED display, potentially launching between 2026 and 2028.

The new iPad Air models with the M3 chip are expected to offer a performance increase of nearly 50% over the M1 models and triple the performance compared to models with the A14 Bionic chip.

The new iPad Air is priced starting at 4799 yuan and will be available from May 15, 2024.
