ASUS’s First Game Handheld ROG Ally Shows Up Completely in Online Leaks

ASUS’s first gaming handheld ROG Ally is going to be released to the global market. It will be officially revealed this quarter and it will feature a custom accelerated processing unit (APU).

The main selling points of the game handheld are all released in PPT shared by the online leaker @HXL on Twitter. It comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z1 series CPU, which is a customized version of AMD R7 7840U and a Radeon 780M GPU.

In addition, the Gaming handheld runs Microsoft Windows 11 OS. It means the device can support multiple platforms such as Steam, Epic, and Xbox Store. It comes with a display that features a 7-inch 1920*1080 resolution screen. The display has a 120Hz high refresh screen and supports 500 nits brightness with a 7ms response time.


According to the PPT, the ASUS ROG Ally handheld weighs 608g. It is expected to come with 16 GB LPDDR5 memory and 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, which can be further expanded using MicroSD cards. Additionally, it supports Dolby Atmos for an enhanced audio experience.

SnoopyTech, another online leaker, has also shared an image of the protective cover bag for the ROG Ally game handheld. The bag is black in colour and adorned with the ROG logo in the brand’s signature colours.
