Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro Announced, With Other Updated Models as Well!

It Features Built-in Live Streaming Function.
The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro was announced by Blackmagic Design today. It is a new powerful studio camera model with a larger 6K sensor. It features improved colourimetry to handle finer content with common EF lens mounts and ND filters.
Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro models are available now from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide for USD 2495, excluding local duties and taxes.

The new model comes with a built-in live streaming Function which you can use via Ethernet or mobile data. So users can send the H.264 HD live stream back to the studio by placing the camera in a remote location using the Internet.
Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro features:

- It features a large 7-inch viewfinder that delivers high brightness.
- The camera offers multiple connectivity options, including 12G-SDI, HDMI, and 10G Ethernet.
- Its single 10G Ethernet port allows for SMPTE fibre-style workflow.
- The camera’s professional mini XLR inputs have 48-volt phantom power.
- Users can opt for focus and zoom demands for better control over their lenses.
- The Blackmagic Studio Converter enables all connections to be made via Ethernet.
The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro showcases a studio camera’s all-in-one design, packed into a compact and lightweight body reinforced with carbon fibre polycarbonate. It boasts an integrated 7″ HDR viewfinder and a robust broadcast-grade interface, delivering high-quality performance.

Blackmagic also announced the Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2, an updated model that also features built-in live streaming.
Blackmagic has recently launched the version 8.0 software update for Blackmagic Camera, which offers enhancements to both Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro and Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus models. This update includes a revamped user interface, along with the capability to record motion sensor data to Blackmagic RAW recording files. Moreover, it provides reserved presets and LUTs for upcoming updates, L-Fn button mapping for MFT lenses, and better lens and autofocus functionality.
