Cloud download feature for reinstall coming to Windows soon!

It will finally be easier to reinstall Windows if something goes wrong!

One of the often-ignored features present in the macOS is the ability to download a new operating system from the Mac App Store and then reinstall the whole OS easily without having to use any external physical media. Such an option hasn’t been there in the Windows platform ever since it’s inception. But now one of the latest updates for Windows showcases that such a feature may finally be coming to Windows platform in the upcoming months.

On August 30th, Microsoft launched a new preview version of Windows 10 for the Windows Channel Insider members, it was a version number Build 18970, which belongs to the 20H1 update. The biggest change in this update is the introduction of a completely new tablet mode for the 2-in-1 PCs. But at the same time, this version also brings a well-received feature on the Mac – the cloud downloading for system image and reinstalling the system.

The upcoming changes for reinstalling Windows easily via Cloud!

Specifically, now you can download the new version of Windows 10 via settings – update and security – recovery – start reset this computer – clear all data, there will be a “cloud download” option, click this option, Windows 10 will automatically Download the clean Windows 10 image from the cloud and reinstall the system.

It’s important to note that users who want to download a clean system from the cloud must choose the option to clear all data, so you need to back up your files in advance.

This option should be able to replace the inconvenience of using external drives for resetting. If this option gets popular, it should also reduce the daily headaches for tech guys who have to deal with a lot of builds and systems.
