CRED offers Live Sessions this weekend with Kommune and Kalki Koechlin!

Online experiences offered to reward CRED members for being responsible and creditworthy

CRED has announced two unique Live sessions that members can treat themselves to this weekend. The first session on Friday, 8th May 2020 features a virtual play – ‘Lockdown Love’ created and presented by artist collective Kommune. The second session to be conducted on Saturday, 9th May 2020 would be a Live session with Kalki Koechlin which would involve her sharing spoken word poetry, talking about her journey in the arts, along with an interactive Q&A session. These sessions are part of the CRED Experiences being offered to members as rewards for being creditworthy and responsible, thereby incentivising good financial behaviour.

Individuals with a credit card and credit score higher than 750 can access CRED and be part of the community at no cost!

In a bid to spread positivity during social isolation, CRED is hosting these sessions for members to make their journey meaningful and worthwhile. Art has the power to inspire joy and can help the members find freedom and a true expression of themselves. To further this thought, CRED is bringing a range of live performances, art workshops, and unfiltered conversations with artists through CREDLive sessions.

CRED has partnered with Kommune to release a virtual play “Lockdown Love”.  The story has been adapted from Jonathan Rand’s ‘Check Please’, and it is a (very) modern-day take on arranged romance-in the time of a pandemic. Like any other play, this would feature multiple actors, character switches, costume changes, and different scenes, however, all this would be presented to the audiences through videoconferencing. Featuring a stellar line up of artists including Shriya Pilgaonkar, Priyanshu Painyuli, Tanmay Dhanania, Ashwin Mushran, Kira Narayanan and Sheena Khalid, this is a first of its kind experience for CRED members that can be watched from the comforts of their home.

The Live session with Kalki Koechlin will have her perform an original, unreleased spoken word poem, talk about what inspired her into the creative field and her journey while also sharing her learnings from being an unconventional artist and individual.
