[EXCLUSIVE] Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro launch date in India confirmed!

The new flagship killer is coming soon to India!
The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro has been in the news since last month and for all the right reasons. It’s going to be one of the cheapest phones out there with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. It’s going to come with a flagship experience and that too at a very affordable price. A lot of early reviews and videos are already in on YouTube and people have been really hyped up about this device.
Xiaomi India has also spent generously on marketing and with campaign posters like “Starkly superior” next to OnePlus 7 Pro‘s posters they have been marketing things on a war footing. It’s kind of refreshing as well to see a company trying really hard to woo its customers. What really needs to be seen now is when the device actually lands in India along with the pricing that Xiaomi decides for this device.
Xiaomi Redmi K20 pro launch date in India, specifications
We have some exclusive leaks from our sources which state that Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro would launch in India on 17th of July. This puts the launch date closer to another rival brand i.e. RealMe which is expected to launch the RealMe X in the same week.
This will be a battle of the brands and at the end, the consumer will win. They get to choose from a wide variety of products and almost all the brands are pitching right now with great offerings.
Let’s do a brief recap of what the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro has to offer:
The K20 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6.39″ Full HD+ display. It has a motorized popup camera mechanism. It will be available in 6/8 GB of RAM variants. There would be 64/128/256 GB of storage variants. The device won’t feature any microSD card slot. It’s expected to come with an HDR enabled Super AMOLED display. The phone is expected to come in the 27-30K INR price bracket in India.
But Xiaomi India is known for pulling bold and risky moves and it’s entirely possible that they might undercut other brands by pricing this device really competitively at around 25-27K INR. That would be a major win for consumers as well as people who might be upgrading from something like a Poco F1 and always wanted a budget flagship. Something which OnePlus started to provide when it first set out but stopped doing so somewhere along the line!
The Redmi K20 Pro is the Poco F1 successor everyone wanted and it’s pricing will determine how well it does in a price sensitive country like India. When it comes out it has to compete against the likes of OnePlus 7, ASUS 6Z, RealMe X and a lot more phones!
So guys what do you think? Would the Redmi K20 pro eliminate the competition in the Indian market and emerge as the one true winner? Do let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below! Don’t forget to subscribe to Inspire2Rise newsletter for more awesome tech news like this!
