Ghost of Tsushima PC Requires PSN for Multiplayer, Not for Solo Play

Upcoming Ghost of Tsushima PC version requires PSN for multiplayer gaming. Launch set for May 16 with advanced DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0 support.

As of May 4, 2024, Sony’s upcoming PC release of “Ghost of Tsushima” will necessitate a PlayStation Network (PSN) account for accessing its multiplayer features. This update does not affect the single-player mode, which remains accessible without a PSN account.

This announcement follows a similar requirement for “Hell Divers 2,” which has been a point of contention among PC gamers since its implementation on May 30, 2024. Sony has now standardized PSN account binding for certain multiplayer functionalities in its PC games.

“Ghost of Tsushima” is set to debut on the PC on May 16, 2024. The game has been adapted for PC by Nixxes, featuring support for both DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0 technologies.

The game’s requirements range from a minimum setting, suitable for systems with a GTX 960 4GB or RX 5500 XT, to the highest setting requiring an RTX 4080 or AMDRX 7900XT for optimal performance at 4K 60 frames per second.
