We have learned from Gigabyte’s official website that Gigabyte has launched a new mini PC that looks similar to Intel’s NUC and can carry up to six Core i7-10710U. This new mini PC is most probably the successor in their Brix lineup of mini PCs.
Gigabyte Brix S specifications:
- Volume: 46.8 x 119.5 x 119.5 (mm)
- Optional up to i7-10710U processor
- Dual SO-DIMM DDR4 memory, support 2666MHz, up to 64GB
- Dual HDMI interface, support 4K / 60P resolution
- Intel Wireless AC 3168, Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2
- I / O ports: including 6 USB 3.2 Gen2, Gigabit Ethernet ports
In terms of performance, Gigabyte has said that the 6-core i7-10710 has greatly improved overall performance compared to the previous generation i7-8550U. The 3DMark benchmark score has increased by 20%, and the CPU multi-threaded benchmark score has doubled.
