Chinese smartphone maker Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei unveiled the Honor View 20 in the first half of January. Now the next up in line is the flagship smartphone without the View branding. According to leaks coming from reliable sources in China, the Honor 20 might come soon with a 48 MP main camera sensor and a 6.1 inch OLED screen.
The Honor 20 smartphone would come with a Kirin 980 chipset at its heart, which is to be expected at this point of time. This is their flagship chipset currently and it would be paired with 6/8 GB of RAM. It will come with 128 or 256 GB of storage options.
Because of the fact that this is an Honor smartphone and a sub-product of Huawei, proprietary features provided by Huawei like GPU Turbo, Link Turbo, CPU Turbo and Gaming plus can be expected to be present on this smartphone. It will surely help make this smartphone a powerful package.
The rumoured Honor 20 specifications sheet shows that the phone would have a DxOMark score of 108, this firmly puts it amongst the top ten camera phones right now, even before the launch.
The leaked specifications also completely showcase the triple camera set up at the back, there would be a 48 MP sensor at the back along with a 20 MP sensor and a third 8 MP sensor which would most probably be for depth information.
It will have a 32 MP front camera as shown from the leaks. It’s expected to have a 3650 mAh battery. It will most likely support 5v 4.5A type C fast charging.
It’s expected to come with 22.5W SuperCharge, sixth generation under display fingerprint scanner and EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie.
It’s also expected to retain the 3.5 mm headphone jack along with an Independent Hi-Fi DAC for better audio.
Even the pricing is leaked from the Chinese spec sheet. It can be expected to be around $448 for the 6/128 GB variant, $507 for the 8/128 GB variant and 8/256 GB variant would be the costliest at $567.
