Honor 9x specifications and details
According to previous reports, the smartphone Honor 9X Pro had been certified in Russia. The Honor 9X Pro will use the new Kirin processor (2.36 GHz quad-core + 1.7 GHz quad core) with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage (may be available in other versions). It would sport a 5.84-inch display with a resolution of 2280× 1080 pixels. For the camera module, it would have a rear dual camera: 13 MP + 2 MP depth sensor. It’s expected to have a front 16 MP camera. The battery is 3000 mAh non-removable style. There is no information regarding the appearance of the phone as of now.
It is known that the Honor 9X would be an upgraded version of Honor 8X (next generation). The Honor 8X mobile phone was released in September 2018. It came equipped with a Kirin 710 processor. Had support for GPU Turbo technology. It was equipped with 6 GB of memory and 128 GB of ROM. The phone was equipped with a 3750 mAh capacity battery supports 4D shock, and supports independent microSD expansion.
According to previous news, at the end of February this year, Honor 8X had shipped 10 million units worldwide.
Kirin 810 SoC details
The Kirin 810 platform uses TSMC‘s 7-nanometer process, which is 50% higher than the Samsung 8 nm process transistor density and 64% higher than the 10 nm process. The overall energy efficiency is 28% higher than the 10nm process. At the same time, the self-developed DaVinci architecture NPU was also used.
The Kirin 810 platform has a new DaVinci architecture NPU built in. The AI scores go up to 32,280 points and surpass the Snapdragon 855 in AI performance. Kirin 810 uses two Cortex A76 large cores + six A55 small core designs. The customised Mali-G52 GPU provides a better image quality experience. In addition, Kirin 810 and HiAI 2.0 technology support AI image, AI game and AI US sound, the flagship ISP image processor can handle images well too.
