Today, according to Reuters, Trump said that US companies selling parts to Huawei should be allowed to continue to sell. However, it is unclear whether the current US ban will affect Huawei’s plans to launch new products. But we can be sure that one thing is that Huawei is still developing the Mate 30 series, and will also launch the Mate 30 5G phone.
Not surprisingly, the next-generation Mate series would be named Huawei Mate 30.
On June 29th, GSMArena released a PPT of Huawei’s 5G conference in Russia. The presentation shows that the next-generation Mate 5G flagship (temporarily called “Mate 30”) will be unveiled in December, noting that the timetable is for the Russian market.
The report pointed out that the Mate 30 series is expected to be unveiled around November (the Mate 20 series was released in London on October 16, 2018).
Huawei Mate 30: What we know till now?
At present, the information about the Mate 30 series is still unknown. According to past practice, the Mate 30 series will be the first generation of Huawei’s new generation of Kirin chips, which is worth looking forward to.
In addition, the Mate 20 X 5G version has been launched in some markets, and the Chinese version has obtained the network access license required for launch. This is the first 5G mobile phone in China to obtain the terminal telecom equipment access license.
Li Xiaolong, vice president of Huawei’s mobile phone product line, stressed that this is a dual-mode mobile phone that can provide SA/NSA 5G (currently only Huawei), and is currently the only 5G mobile phone that supports dual-sim. Other 5G chip platforms are not as of yet. Or don’t have support for dual cards.
