With stupefying success of Infocus M2 and Infocus M330 smartphones in India, InFocus, the U.S based tech mobile pioneer, has now launched M530, which they claim is the “Mother of all Camera Smartphones!”. Available exclusively at Snapdeal.com from 26th June 2015, it has a 13 MP “front camera” with an equally powerful 13 MP back camera too with optical image stabilization as well. The phone clicks amazing pictures using the optical image stabilizer F 1.8 aperture. A sleek ceramic looking back panel and elegant metallic ring reflect the user’s trendy side.
As per Sachin Thapar, Country Manager for InFocus Mobiles, the company wanted to create such a device that can make the 20 something youth tick and create an itch in their hands to buy the device. The result turned out to be a sleek and stylish phone with a powerful front camera for the “Selfie Generation” with a cherry on top as the powerful and fast processor.

Infocus M530 specifications and price overview:
Infocus M530 comes with 5.5 inch 720p HD display with an anti-scratch Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that can bring your photographs to life. The anti-scratch and anti-reflective screen helps in visibility during peak hours of sun along with a good array of colours to brings pictures to life.
Due to it’s size, the phone is being qualified as a phablet which makes it hard to use it with one hand. Screen sharpness is at 261 PPI, which makes it average when compared to other smartphones in the market. So it’s not the best in class display or something as good as on Xiaomi MI 4i but it gets the job done.
2. Dimensions and Design:
This self-proclaimed camera giant comes with a weight of 176 grams, which is deduced to be heavier in the smartphone category. The additional heaviness is due to a massive battery that is placed in the phone. The phone’s body is 157.00 mm high, 77.00 mm wide and has a depth of 9.10 mm, 4% thicker than an average smartphone in the 5.1 – 5.5-inch screen range.
3. Performance and Battery Life:
M530 comes with an Octa Core (Quad-A17 2GHz + Quad-A7 1.7GHz) Processor MediaTek MT6595 system. The phone’s CPU runs at 2 Ghz, which is pretty fast as compared to other smartphones in this segment. Additional features in performance segment include PowerVR 450mHz GPU for a smooth 3D Gaming experience. The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM which is expandable up to 64GB.
As per advertised information, M530 has a talk time of up to 12 hrs. In terms of battery capacity, it holds 3,100 mAh, a massive battery capacity for a phone in this range.
The selling factor of this device, M530 comes with a 13 MP front and back camera! One can click amazing pictures with this device, even good for amateur photographs who do not want to invest in cameras and lenses. One can make it pictures look spectacular with the option of turning a dull picture into 150% brighter. It can also capture 1080p high definition videos at 30 fps too.
Camera performance comes from a 13 mega pixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, dual-tone LED flash, optical image stabilization, and f/1.8 aperture. There’s also a 13 mega pixel front-facing shooter with Exmor RS sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and 80-degree wide-angle lens. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/as, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
