InFocus M808 Review, Complete Hands on and Details

InFocus, a mobile brand recently launched has started creating a brand for itself in the Indian smartphone market. And the latest device from this company is InFocus M808.

It has a sleek design that will make you feel that you are carrying an Apple iPhone in your hands, packed with 4G and Android Lollipop and a powerful processor to help you multitask, the phone has everything that a good smartphone should possess. Read our Infocus M808 review to know more about this device!

Infocus M808 review, the Design:

Similar to existing devices, M808 has an attractive design that has stuck itself to minimalism. The device has a metallic body that can give you the feels of an Apple device in your hands. The overall feel of the phone is smooth and has curved edges too which helps in a firm grip.

The golden version of the device is the best one! The brand name is engraved on both the front and back side of the device.

The M808 comes with two sim cards slot placed in a separate tray on the right-hand side. Just above it, a MicroSD card slot is present. The volume and power keys are placed on the left-hand side of the device.

On the front side, an LED notification indicator is present along with a speaker grill. Along with the main camera, a microphone is available for voice cancellation. Overall, the design has really impressed us.

Infocus M808 review, the Display:

A 5.2-inch display with full HD resolution is something that you can get best at this price. The overall touch response of the device is good and the screen adjusts to the outside brightness as well.

The only issue is that features of the display are limited. Not much has been improvised which we were expecting out of M808. An additional feature here or there would have made us really like the display as well. Still, it gets the job done and the color saturation is also pretty decent!

Performance:

M808 comes packed with the MT6753 chipset that is embedded with 64 bit octa-core 1.3 GHz processor and spacious 2GB RAM. The phone is also loaded with the latest Android version, Android 5.1.

The combination is good enough on paper, but when we tried to use the game for multitasking, it hung up.

When you try and play a game on the device, it starts heating up after 15-20 minutes. The overall heating issue is definitely on the high end of this phone.

Infocus M808 Gaming Review

Here’s our gaming review for the Infocus M808 smartphone:

Infocus M808 review, the Camera:

The main camera of M808 is 13 MP which comes with a BSI sensor and a 5 MP camera front camera which consists of Picture in Picture mode for selfie addicts and HDR options as well.

One of the interesting features of the rear camera is motion track mode which can help in capturing moving objects clearly. The only issue that we faced when it comes to the camera is that the pictures look great on the display once captured, but when you view them on another screen, the pictures look pixelated and dim. Without flash, M808 will click dark pictures and detail would be missing in them.

Battery:

M808’s battery is 2450mAh in size and gives average performance only. If you love to work on your phone and indulge in gaming, then make sure to carry a charger because the battery will survive only for 5 to 6 hours max on heavy use.
