In the first half of this year, Intel launched a tenth generation Core desktop processor, code-named Comet Lake-S. It was using a 14nm process. Currently, the highest model in the 10th gen lineup is the Core i9-10900K with 10-core 20 threads and a clock speed up to 5.3GHz.
Now, according to the news of the reputed online leaker @APISAK, a Core i9 10850K has appeared in the running benchmarks of Geekbench, which is slightly lower than the Intel Core i9 10900K in terms of naming and power.
We also learned that the leaked Core i9 10850K will have 10 cores and 20 threads, with the main frequency of 3.6GHz and a turbo frequency of 5.2GHz, which is 100MHz slower than the i9-10900K.
Reputed tech publication NoteBookCheck believes that the Intel Core i9 10850K may be prepared for OEMs, or it may be sold as a retail version, which has a higher price to performance ratio than the Core i9 10900K. At present, the boxed price of i9-10900K is 45000 INR.
