In January 2023, Intel expanded the 13th Gen Intel Core processor family with the release of mobile processors. These processors bring exceptional performance and experiences to mobile platforms. Intel launched 32 new mobile processors, each with a diverse set of features and capabilities that cater to all types of laptop segments.
And finally today Intel has released full information and made available the 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900KS, the fastest desktop processor on the market. The processor boasts a maximum turbo frequency of 6.0 GHz, making it the first processor in the PC industry to reach that threshold at its stock settings. This provides an exceptional gaming and content creation experience for desktop enthusiasts.
The Intel Core i9-13900KS includes 24 cores, 36MB Intel Smart Cache, and a maximum turbo frequency of 6.0 GHz, making it powerful enough to handle even the most demanding workloads. Additionally, the processor features Intel Adaptive Boost Technology, which improves gaming performance by allowing higher multicore turbo frequencies.
The Intel Core i9-13900KS also comes with a 150W processor base power, 32 threads, 20 PCIe lanes, and support for DDR5 5600 MT/s and DDR4 3200 MT/s. This special edition processor is compatible with Z790 and Z690 motherboards and is available since yesterday i.e. January 12th, 2023.
