The faster A8 chips that we saw in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus are expected to be incorporated in both the devices. Reports are coming in from all directions stating that the new iPads might also feature Apple’s touch ID finger print scanner technology. Apart from these reports also indicate towards the launch of a gold iPad too, the colour is reportedly being picked up from the iPhone range as some customers prefer the golden color for vanity and other reasons!
It’s also being rumored that Apple would announce the biggest iPad ever made, an astounding 12.9 inch model apart from their staple 9.7 inch iPad and the iPad mini.

iPad sales have seen a decline lately and with the launch of the extra large 5.5 inch iPhone 6 plus the sales of the iPad mini are expected to go even further down. Growth in the tablet segment would be difficult to achieve as of for now, and it seems somewhat clear that Apple might bank on the 12.9 inch humongous iPad to achieve growth. It seems Apple has finally adopted the saying,
“Bigger is better!”
The Apple iWatch will be launched next year and with no other imminent product launches this seems to be the right time for Apple to gain consumer interest by launching newer and better iPads. As we have come to expect from Apple’s calenders the month of September is always booked for smartphone launches, which we have seen already and the month of October is for the new iPad, Mac software ( OS X Yosemite, this time around) and iMac lineup.

With the debut of OS X Yosemite we also hope to see a new range of iMacs this time. The OS X Yosemite is available to download as a public beta since summer. It was first shown in the Apple WWDC in San Fransisco and it features a really fresh user interface along with new enhanced features like Airdrop and better synchronization with iOS.
Will the new iPads live up to the hype that all Apple products have?
This only time can tell.
