IQor Expanding in India, set for $200 million expansion

Not many know about iQor, but it is one of the new companies to look out for. It provides BPO and product support services in 17 countries, thanks to 32,000 professionals to help you out in your business. They partner with many world known brands to deliver after market services and customer support solutions, because they understand the value of customer being King in the market. A global brand with an award winning technology in their kitty, tthey are now expanding in India with $200 million and 20,000 jobs.

Details about iQor’s expansion

The expansion will be done PAN India basis. Currently iQor has provide their services from state of the art facilities based in Manesar, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore. From these offices, they focus on providing repair/refurbishment services. It also operates a 1,000 seat contact center in Delhi NCR region.

When asked about why India, company CEO Mr. Hartmut Liebel says

“India is the world’s fastest-growing major economy and is projected to be the second largest smartphone market by 2016. With infrastructure and staff already in place throughout the country, iQor is perfectly positioned to meet India’s increasing demands for skilled, immediate product support”.

The expansion brings with itself a lot of goodies for the county’s economy. The expansion plans to create about 20,000 jobs in all 29 states overall. Two main repair depots are to be established in Chennai and Hyderabad along with new walk-in centers with on-site services for world’s best manufacturers of gadgets including smartphones, tablets, desktops, notebooks, digital players etc.

A quadruple network, brand exclusive centers offering face-to-face product support, first and second line technical assistance, these are some of the footholds that iQor wants to achieve. By end of 2-015, the company will be present in 115 locations in 109 cities and 22 states.

“All our global and domestic clients are expanding massively in India,” says Sanjay Vidyarthi, Managing Director-India.

“They are all looking for one or two partners to deliver quality services across the country. With our exceptional end-to-end in-country capabilities, we intend to become their partner of choice.”
