You will need to get a new Jio number to avail of the Jio Prime membership offer. All existing subscribers of RJIL and the subscribers enrolled till 03.03.2017, will continue to enjoy the benefits under Jio Happy New Year Offer up to 31.03.2017. Post this date, tariffs as per the opted plan will be applicable.
All new Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers enrolling with Jio between 04-March-17 to 31-March-17, with any of the applicable prepaid Prepaid vs Postpaid plans should use First Recharge of Rs. 99 to avail benefits of Jio Happy New year offer upto 31st March and then get on the Jio Prime Membership service. Enrollment to Jio Prime is open only till 31st March, 2017 for Jio customers.
11.Will unlimited night data be available to Jio Prime Members?
Jio Prime Membership provides data to consumers keeping in line with telecom regulations to prevent skewed use of data, as a result they can only provide a fixed amount of data during a specific period. Hence there is no differentiation in day or night as data is free 24 hours for Jio Prime customers on 303/499 recharges
This is hugely beneficial as the customer can now enjoy the benefits of data during any hour of the day, and nobody has to necessarily wait for night time.
12.I am a Jio Prime member, must I avail of the Rs.303 or Rs.499 plan only or can I switch between plans?
You can avail of any prepaid or postpaid plan as long as it has a one month validity. No plan is mandatory, but logically the one month validity for plan begins from Rs.149 on wards. Hence the Rs.149 plan is the minimal you can subscribe to under the Prime membership. The Rs.303 and Rs.499 plans are highly recommended as they offer the most value for money. But any Prime plan can be subscribed to as long as it has a one month validity.
13.Does the 149 plan have a 1000 minute talk-time cap per day?
Jio has always maintained and will continue to maintain that there will be NO FUP ON CALLS for lifetime, consumers can get the benefits of 4G HD voice calling on the Jio network for free and this data will not be eliminated from the daily data limit.
14.Do I need to buy a new Jio SIM for Jio Prime?
If you are an existing Jio customer you do not need to purchase a new SIM. You can simply recharge with Rs. 99 to avail the Jio Prime membership.
If you are not a Jio customer yet, you will need to purchase a SIM before 31st March 2017, and recharge with Rs. 99 for Jio Prime membership.
All new Jio customers joining till 31st March, 2017 will get unlimited free services till 31st March, 2017, on purchasing a Jio Prime membership.
