Aditya Nath Jha on “Why you should continue blogging, despite much success.”

If you are a writer, you will understand.
If you are not a writer, you will understand this post better.

keep writing your voice matters 2

Each and every one of us is the collective sum of our experiences, our memories, our environment, upbringing, and a lot more things. A lot of these things are not things we can inherently control.

But what we can control is what we choose to think, on an individual as well as on a collective basis. If all of us just stay engrossed in our work then none of us would stand out as people with individuals voices and opinions.

In a world which is increasingly going conservative and more and more resistant to new ideas and changes it’s even more important than before that people say out loud what’s on their mind.

A lot of us suppress what we feel, and what we wish to express just to fit in or be more respected amongst our peers. This is because it’s tough to be liked by others if you express unpopular opinions.

But in a world full of yes and affirmative we need some naysayers. We need people who speak the truth irrespective of the outcome or fear or retribution.

It’s more easier than ever to write these days. You have social media, platforms like Blogger. You can host your own website for cheap and there are plenty of other ways.

choose blogging to express yourself

If you believe that you have a unique viewpoint or something interesting to share with the world, you should share that.

Even if you believe that what you have to say is not worth reading for others. Just keep writing.

Because in that case what you wrote would serve as a self-catharsis and would help you to understand what exactly you expect from yourself and what exactly you should really write about. Or about the things where you are lacking.

If you write about something you genuinely care about. Or something that you are really passionate about, it shows up in your writing. And when that happens then other people and readers connect with you. So you need to understand that writing is not an entirely selfish prospect or something done just to earn money.

There are people who do this on a regular basis in order to earn money but even if you are not a writer it’s good to write down everything you feel and genuinely care about every once in a while.

This will help you to keep your perspective in the long run and you would avoid feeling burn out.

So guys, what do you think?

Are you gonna start writing from today?

Please do.

And do share all of your social handles or blog links in the comments below.

I will try to read all of your works. I can’t exactly promise.

But do it for yourself and for the world.

We need more people who really think.

And are not afraid to share what they really think with the rest of the world.
