Lenovo K3 note specifications and price overview
The Lenovo K3 Note looks pretty much similar to Lenovo A7000. The two devices share the same dimension in fact, but K3 note is a little bit heavier than A7000.
The phone has similar rectangular shape with rounded corners and is available in three colours; black, white and yellow. All three back panels are done in a matte finish, which feels really premium in the hands.
With a 5.5′ inch full HD 1080p screen, the device lacks Gorilla glass which may leave it open for scratches on the screen. Along with that, the phone’s touch panel is pretty responsive with capacitive touch screen type. The resolution is 1080×1920 pixels with 401 PPI. With 16 million colour palette, the phone provides good viewing angles and vibrant colours. But at some points the display feels a little bit washed out!
There are three capacitive touch navigation buttons which are placed right below the display and were pretty responsive but these the buttons are not backlit.
A 5 MP front-facing camera is placed right above the display next to the earpiece. It has 4 lens system which makes it really good as it’s a wide angle camera. The right edge of the phone houses the volume rocker and power keys. Both of the keys offer good tactile feedback and were responsive. The left and bottom edges are barren while the top sports the 3.5 mm headset jack as well as the micro-USB port.
Lenovo K3 Note is powered by a 1.7 GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 octa core processor, Mali T760 GPU, and 2GB RAM, the phone comes with 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion (up to 32GB).
The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It also features Lenovo’s Vibe UI skin on top and comes with Lenovo’s utility apps. It also includes support for gestures like double tap to unlock.
Lenovo K3 Note comes with a 13 mega pixel back camera with dual LED flash. An 8 mega pixel front camera is also installed in the device. The back camera is placed on the upper portion of the back panel.
In terms of connectivity, K3 Note supports both FDD 1800 MHz (Band 3) & TDD 2300 MHz (Band 40) 4G LTE bands in addition to 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The device has a 2900 mAh battery which might seem a little less considering the fact that it has a full HD display but with battery optimizations and other stuff it might last you through the day on average usage.
