Lenovo Savior mobile SSD launched, type C interface, up to 1 TB!

Prices start at $73 for the starting version!

In the world of storage, there has been continuous innovation since quite some time. We have witnessed falling SSD prices and a lot more in the past few months. It’s become increasingly easy to get more and more storage for lesser prices. With this fast pace of innovation, we have another brand rising to the occasion with their new SSD products. This time it’s Lenovo with their new Savior mobile SSD sporting a USB-C interface. The storage for these SSDs starts at 256 GB and goes all the way up to 1 TB.

Lenovo launched the Savior Mobile SSD, using 10Gbps Type-C interface, there are three versions i.e. 256GB/512GB/1TB, starting at 499 yuan or 72.54 USD.

According to reports, the rescuer mobile SSD’s sequential read speed is 850 MB/s, sequential write speed is up to 750 MB/S. If we consider the 10 Gbps bandwidth limit, this speed is also pretty good.

In terms of design, the Savior Mobile Solid State Drive has an aluminium alloy body with no mechanical design inside. It uses CNC cutting and anodizing process and has a weight of 37g and a thickness of 9mm.

In terms of functionality, the Savior Mobile SSD supports the Win To Go feature, which allows the operating system to be used directly from this SSD.
