LG 27BQ85U Monitor launched

On July 8th, LG launched its newest display, the 27BQ85U, in select markets. This 27-inch 4K Nano IPS Black panel display is the successor to the 27UQ850, which was released last year. The 27BQ85U has a price tag of $529 (Editor’s Note: currently about INR 43,750).

Let’s take a closer look at the specifications of the LG 27BQ85U monitor. According to reports, this display boasts LGD’s latest Nano IPS Black panel technology with an impressive 2,000:1 contrast ratio.

The display features a 27-inch 4K resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate, a DCI-P3 color gamut of up to 98%, and DisplayHDR 400 certified brightness. Additionally, the monitor supports USB-C (with 90W reverse charging) for one-line connection.

This feature allows users to connect their laptops to the monitor with a single cable, making for a more streamlined workspace. Moreover, the 27BQ85U is equipped with built-in 5W x 2 stereo speakers that support lifting and rotating adjustments to optimize sound quality.

This display is perfect for those who need a high-quality monitor with a sleek design that can adapt to any workspace. It’s worth noting that the specifications of the new 27BQ85U and its predecessor, the 27UQ850, are quite similar.

However, the 27BQ85U offers the latest Nano IPS Black panel technology and an improved contrast ratio, making it a worthy upgrade for those in need of a new display.
