Logitech launches new mechanical keyboard G915/G815: GL short axis

Mechanical keyboards with wireless connectivity and more!

Just a day ago, Logitech introduced two thin mechanical keyboards Logitech G815 Lightsync and Logitech G915 Lightspeed, using low profile GL switches. The laptop comes with an aircraft-grade aluminium build.

It is known that the low-latency Lightspeed technology is used on many Logitech mice, and the G915 mechanical keyboard will also adopt this technology. The two keyboards are completely new in design, and to make the keyboard thinner, the two keyboards do not use the traditional cherry switches (staging), but the GL short switches.

According to the officials, the Logitech G815 and G915 will use GL Clicky, GL Tactile and GL Linear. Clicky has the sound of a traditional mechanical keyboard; Tactile is more suitable for gamers; Linear is linear, similar to the cherry MX red and black. The three switches have the same specifications, with a trigger stroke of 1.5 mm and a total stroke of 2.7 mm.
