It is reported that the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor GPU has outstanding performance, and the frame rate in the 2K test scenes far surpasses that of the Apple A16 Bionic.
According to news on June 5th, a digital blogger leaked today that the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor has a frame rate of 90fps in the GFXBench Aztec 1440P test scene, which greatly exceeds that of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor’s 68fps and 53fps for the Apple A16 Bionic processor.
We previously reported that MediaTek officially confirmed that its next-generation Dimensity flagship CPU, Dimensity 9300, will use Arm’s new mobile processor core IP, including the new Cortex-X4 super core and Cortex-A720 performance core. The performance will increase significantly.
Regarding GPU, Dimensity 9300 will incorporate Arm’s latest Immortalis G720 GPU. According to official data, Immortalis G720 introduces deferred vertex shading (DVS) technology, which boosts performance per watt by 15%, peak performance by 15%, frame rate by 15% on average, and overall performance compared to Immortalis G715 by 20%.
In addition to DVS, Immortalis G720 also supports hardware-level ray tracing, variable rate shading, 2x MSAA modules, etc., which enable the GPU to better adapt to different gaming scenarios and requirements, providing a more realistic, smoother, and longer-lasting gaming experience.
According to previously reported data, Dimensity 9300 will use 4 Cortex-X4 ultra-large cores + 4 Cortex-A720 large-core full-core new architecture. It could be on par with Apple’s A17 processor in terms of performance, and the power consumption will be relatively low. Compared to Dimensity 9200, the power consumption is reduced by over 50%.
He also said that the Dimensity 9300 chip is expected to be released before the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the vivo X100 series phones will be launched with this chipset.
