The latest update from Microsoft in April has introduced a significant change for Windows 11 users according to Foreign Tech Publication Windows Latest. It has activated the Copilot feature by default on devices that were eligible for the update but had not previously enabled Copilot.
This change sees Copilot replacing the traditional ‘Show Desktop’ button, now positioned in the lower right corner of the taskbar. Users have the option to revert this in the settings, allowing the ‘Show Desktop’ button to be displayed again.
This move aims to streamline the interface and integrate more advanced functionalities directly into the user experience. Despite these changes on Windows 11, the Windows 10 interface remains unaffected by this particular update, maintaining the ‘Show Desktop’ button alongside the new Copilot icon.
