Microsoft Windows 10 2019 May update out now!

Update fast! Recommended for all users!

Yesterday, Microsoft released the Windows 10 2019 May update. For Windows users, the new system improvements are quite a lot. So Microsoft has also highly recommended the users to upgrade.

In order to allow more users to upgrade, Microsoft has also updated the minimum configuration requirements for Windows 10 2019 May update, specifically as follows:

CPU clock frequency: 1GHz or above, supports all the latest Intel processors, including i3, i5, i7 and i9. AMD’s seventh generation processor is also perfectly supported. And it also supports AMD Athlon 2xx processor, AMD Ryzen 3/5 /7 2xxx and so on.

Memory: 2GB RAM for 64-bit system and 1GB RAM for a 32-bit system.

Storage: There must be 20GB of free space on the 64-bit version of the system. And at least 16GB of free space on the 32-bit version. But it is best to have at least 50GB of free storage for a better experience.
Screen resolution: minimum of 800×600 px.

Graphics System: A graphics card that supports Microsoft DirectX 9 or higher with the WDDM 1.0 driver.

Microsoft heard the user suggestions and improved Windows Update in Windows 10 1903. The Windows Update Settings page now offers a pause update option so users can delay the update.

Another important change in the new system is that Microsoft has separated Windows Search from Cortana and the Windows Search interface has been adjusted. The OS now supports lightweight themes and has a smooth design.

Microsoft has also built a troubleshooting feature in Windows. So now Windows Troubleshooting supports handling compatibility, audio, driver and application issues. For this new system, Microsoft still highly recommends users to upgrade, and it is also true from the perspective of performance improvement.
