In the early morning of May 31, Motorola released the Moto Z4 smartphone in the USA. The Moto Z4 has been priced at $499.99 for the unlocked version. This is around 35000 INR. Motorola has started accepting pre-bookings for the same and the device is expected to start shipping from June 13. Read on for detailed Moto Z4 specifications and price details in India!
As opposed to the previous leaks and rumours, the Moto Z4 is not a flagship smartphone at all. The smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 mobile chipset. This is in contrast to the previous generation Moto Z3 which was equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 high-end flagship chipset. The Z4 doesn’t really excite a lot of smartphone users because the only novel features it does provide is through the Moto Mods functionality and they too aren’t any cheap!
Like previous generations, the Moto Z4 supports Moto Mods, which can be connected to Verizon 5G networks in the United States with the 5G module priced at $199.99.
Moto Z4 specifications and price in India
Talking about the internal specifications the Moto Z4 uses a 6.4-inch water drop notch style screen. It has a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. It’s equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 mobile platform. It also comes equipped with 4GB memory +128GB storage on the inside. At the front, it has a 25-megapixel selfie camera, rear 48-megapixel single camera. The battery capacity on the Moto Z4 is 3600mAh and this device supports Turbo Charge fast charging.
In addition, the Moto Z4 retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. And it also allows for on-screen fingerprint recognition.
The pricing for the Moto Z4 does leave a lot to be desired. Even if there are no taxes and the device is available at the US pricing which is around 35K INR we still have a lot of better options present in the Indian market. Someone looking to just invest in a Snapdragon 675 smartphone can easily go for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro here and there are a ton of better options for a higher than 30K INR budget. So the Moto Z4 doesn’t actually make a lot of sense for the market here.
If you are someone who already owns few Moto mods then maybe this device might interest you. Otherwise, it’s a pretty hard sell!
