On Tuesday, Nothing announced that the Nothing Phone 2 will be launched in India on July 11. The UK-based startup, led by OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei, has confirmed that the phone will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a top-of-the-line chipset launched last year.
The Nothing Phone 2 will also sport a 6.7-inch display and a slightly larger 4,700mAh battery.
Additionally, the company shared a teaser that reveals a revamped Glyph interface on the back panel of the phone. The launch event for the Nothing Phone 2 will be streamed live via the company’s website and YouTube channel on July 11 at 8:30 pm IST/4 pm BST.

The company has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2 will be manufactured in India, like its predecessor, and will use recycled materials and eco-friendly packaging during production as part of the company’s sustainability efforts.
With less than a month until launch, Nothing has already revealed some key specifications of the phone, including the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and the larger 4,700mAh battery.
The company has also confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2 will receive three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates, putting it on par with recent flagship phones from Oppo and OnePlus. Samsung and Google currently offer five years of security updates for their supported smartphones.
The Nothing Phone 2 will also boast a large 6.7-inch display, which is expected to offer an immersive viewing experience to the users. With this large screen size, users can enjoy their favourite movies, videos, and games with stunning clarity and detail.
