On Tuesday, Nothing announced that the Nothing Phone 2 will be launched in India on July 11. The UK-based startup, led by OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei, has confirmed that the phone will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a top-of-the-line chipset launched last year.
The Nothing Phone 2 will also sport a 6.7-inch display and a slightly larger 4,700mAh battery.
Additionally, the company shared a teaser that reveals a revamped Glyph interface on the back panel of the phone. The launch event for the Nothing Phone 2 will be streamed live via the company’s website and YouTube channel on July 11 at 8:30 pm IST/4 pm BST.
Nothing has also released a teaser image that shows a revamped Glyph interface on the back panel of the phone, which confirms renders of the phone leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks). The renders also show a redesigned layout for the LED strips, including the one around the camera layout.
The company has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2 will be manufactured in India, like its predecessor, and will use recycled materials and eco-friendly packaging during production as part of the company’s sustainability efforts.
With less than a month until launch, Nothing has already revealed some key specifications of the phone, including the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and the larger 4,700mAh battery.
