Nvidia’s First Windows on Arm Processor Will Use Intel’s 3nm Process
May 27, 2024 – According to X platform insider Kepler (@Kepler_L2), Nvidia is expected to launch its first Windows on Arm processor next year, utilizing Intel’s 3nm process.
Kepler shared this information in response to another insider, AGF (@XpeaGPU), who speculated that Nvidia’s WoA SoC would feature Arm Cortex-X5 architecture CPU cores, Nvidia Blackwell architecture GPU, next-generation LPDDR6 memory, and would be based on TSMC’s N3P process.
Additionally, Kepler mentioned that this SoC is targeted at the tablet market and is “almost certain” to adopt a monolithic design.
Currently, Nvidia’s most advanced GPUs are manufactured by TSMC, while some other products are made by Samsung Electronics. However, Nvidia remains open to introducing a third advanced process foundry.
In May 2023, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that the company had received test chips based on Intel’s next-generation process node, with favorable test results.
