Reports from October 7 and credible informer “MEGAsizeGPU” suggest that Nvidia is set to release an enhanced version of the RTX 4080 graphics card in early 2024, potentially named RTX 4080 Super or RTX 4080 Ti.
The RTX 4080 Ti is expected to feature a larger AD102 GPU, consume less than 450W of power, and be priced similarly to the current RTX 4080. This implies a significant price drop for the RTX 4080 in the early part of next year.
As per earlier reports, Nvidia introduced the RTX 4080 graphics card last year, retailing at 9,499 yuan (or 1,09,740 Indian Rupees) in China.
Regarding technical specifications, the RTX 4080 boasts 9728 CUDA cores and 16 GB of high-speed Micron GDDR6X video memory.
Officially, it can deliver up to twice the performance of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti in modern games; and even at lower power, it outperforms the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. The 4080ti is expected to surpass the current model in power.
