The OnePlus 7 Pro was launched recently and it has been our Android smartphone of choice for this year with ease. The gorgeous 2K 90Hz screen coupled with the greatest hardware available for now makes the OnePlus 7 Pro a great phone. But the phone hasn’t been without its fair share of controversies and issues. One of the biggest issues that have popped up is that of OnePlus 7 Pro ghost touch!
There have been other issues as well where people have reported that the 13 MP telephoto camera isn’t actually capable of 3X Zoom optically rather achieves an 8MP photograph by cropping in. But that’s a discussion for another day as it doesn’t actually hamper the usability of the smartphone in any way.
OnePlus has now officially recognized the problems of Ghost Touches. Currently, there’s no clear cut info whether this is a hardware problem or something which is related to the software. If it’s something related to the software then a fix might be coming in soon via an OTA.
Recent OTA updates have fixed few of the major issues faced by the OnePlus 7 Pro users. The camera quality which was one of the pain points for reviewers, as well as early buyers, has said to be improved dramatically after the series of OTA updates that have come in since the launch.

But there’s no official word on whether the issue of OnePlus 7 Pro Ghost touch is because of quality control or some software glitch. We didn’t face the issue on the units we tested but that’s most probably because review units go under major scrutiny.
Users who faced the issues have reported screen opening up without user interaction and even hardware apps like CPU-Z showed user input when there was none.
So guys what do you think? Is a fix just around the corner? Or are all the OnePlus 7 Pro buyers in for a major disappointment! Do let us know in the comments section below!
