The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro have been leaking left and right ever since they were announced. The hype around these devices is unparalleled and might give a lot of brands sleepless nights. We also did a lot of posts in the recent past about both of these devices and what they are gonna look like. What the internal specifications would be and what not! But now after posting the OnePlus 7 Pro first look yesterday, we thought there couldn’t be anything more left to leak. But to our pleasant surprise we were wrong and today we have the OnePlus 7 Pro price in India! Read on to know more!
OnePlus 7 Pro price in India: Our wallet’s crying!
According to a reliable tip on the Indian pricing, the OnePlus 7 will start at INR 39,999 for the base variant and go up till INR 46,000. While the OnePlus 7 Pro will be priced starting at INR 50,999. It’s expected to go even higher up with the increased RAM and storage variants.
These prices are to be expected considering the features that both smartphones bring to the table. Personally, we believe that at this price point the OnePlus 7 Pro isn’t a flagship killer anymore. They have entered the flagship territory and are competing against the likes of Samsung and Apple.
At a price higher than 50K INR OnePlus might even lose their initial appeal of being budget-friendly and providing the best possible specifications for a lower price point. Last year’s Xiaomi PocoPhone F1 did what the OnePlus flagships were supposed to do at one point of time.
But does that mean that the 7 and the 7 Pro would be bad devices or not provide enough value for the price? We don’t think so. This is because of the Oxygen OS experience, improved cameras, overall improved charging capacity and much more. With the Snapdragon 855, fast storage, higher RAM variants and other improvements like a full view display it’s tough to argue against OnePlus hiking their device prices.
OnePlus 7 Pro pricing: Why and how?
The OnePlus 7 Pro might be the first device from OnePlus which is actually meant to fully compete with the flagships. And not just be a device with a certain compromise that’s meant to retail at a particular price bracket.
So guys what do you think about OnePlus 7 Pro price in India? Would it be worth it? Is the OnePlus 7 still a lucrative device at a starting price of around almost 40K INR? Or should OnePlus consider rethinking their pricing in a price sensitive market like India? Do let us know your views in the comments section below!
