The OPPO Find X6 series is making headlines as its release draws near. On January 29th, a photo of a real engineering model of the phone surfaced online.
The image, which came from a Chinese Weibo blogger, shows a square camera module on the back of the phone that takes up nearly half of the entire surface. However, this differs from previous renderings that depicted a circular camera module, leading some to speculate that the phone was in a confidential case. A former OPPO executive commented that the phone he saw was different from the one in the picture.
The leaker also stated that the OPPO Find X6 glass version is approximately 9.2mm thick and features the Sony IMX890 sensor as its main camera, but retains the 50Mp Sony telephoto periscope sensor.
Previous leaks suggest that the OPPO Find X6 will be powered by the Dimensity 9200 processor, have a 5000mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, and boast a 32-megapixel front camera and a rear camera module with three 50-megapixel lenses (main, wide-angle, and telephoto). The phone is also rumoured to have a self-developed Mariana X chip and Hasselblad Mobile Imaging capabilities. Only time will tell how accurate these leaks turn out to be.
