Oppo R7 lite specifications and price in India

Light weight, amazing specs with best performance and a price that makes you despise it at first glance. That is what OPPO R7 Lite promises you. At a recent launch event, Smartphone makers OPPO have launched the R7 Lite and OPPO R7 Plus. Both devices have one thing in common, amazing camera and claims of exceptional performance. We can only judge that after hands on review, but for now here’s a little information about the device.

Oppo R7 lite features overview

Design and Display:

The screen of the phone is 5-inch AMOLED HD 128X720, 294ppi complete with the 2.5D Curved Screen and protection from scratches, thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The overall dimensions of the phone are 143×71×6.3 which makes it pretty light to carry.

R7 Lite also comes with “Violin Arc Design”. The Violin Arc Concept refers to the neck of violin which is perfected many years to facilitate smooth and accurate motions for complete command on the violin fingerboard which is curved handle of the violin.

Camera:

Camera of OPPO R7 Lite is the most important selling point. It comes with 13 MP rear camera based on Sony IMX278 sensor with RGBW technology which is laser focused. The front camera is 8MP Golden Angles which has 80 degree wide-angle. The German quality, thanks to Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens makes the camera experience bigger and better.

The latest technology that has been incorporated in the camera is New Flash Shot Technology which features the standard Contrast Detection Autofocus (AF) and Laser Focus. A combination of ”Fast Launch, Fast Focus and Laser Focus” enables to camera to capture your pics without any lags. The device’s laser autofocus system targets and focuses precisely on a subject in under 0.3 seconds.

The New Flash Shot also dual-drive hybrid focus system. This includes the anti-shake optimization, Contrast Detection Autofocus (AF) and the new Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) software.

Software:

OPPO R7 Lite is dual-SIM compatible, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM which is expandable up to 128GB using micro SD giving powerful performance. With 1.3GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor that promises you strong performance at minimal battery usage. Though the specs are a little low as compared to R7 Plus, the device still boasts of it’s great performance.

Battery and connectivity:

Battery of R7 Lite is only 2320 mAh, which may be able to provide it’s users normal usage of device up to 14-17 hours. It comes with dual sim option along with 4G connectivity.

The pricing of this device is something which will put of most consumers. It’s priced at a hefty price of INR 17,990 and will be available across offline retailers and on-line e-commerce websites soon.
