Panasonic Lumix S1H video camera: can shoot 6K video, coming soon!

Has 14-speed dynamic range and much more!

Earlier there were a lot of rumours online that Panasonic was going to release a full-frame video camera Lumix. There was also some unreliable leaked information. Now the camera has finally officially been announced. We know the camera name and its specifications. The new model name is DC-S1H, meaning Hybrid (mixed). It would be one of the better video cameras from Panasonic’s stable! Read on for Panasonic Lumix S1H specs and price in India!

Based on the information, the Lumix S1H specifications confirmed are as follows:

It uses a new full-size sensor. It can shoot 6K24P and 4K60P video (there’s no confirmation whether the 4K60P is fully sampled or not).

The size of the camera body is larger than the S1 and S1R, and the heat dissipation is better.

It has a 14-speed dynamic range.

Built-in Log.

The Body has anti-shake

Prices would be around $4000 which is around 2.78 LAKH INR for Indian users if they don’t make it more pricey here. The camera is expected to launch by the fall season.

The S1H is not the Sony A7S2, but it does have the advantage of being the first mirrorless camera to shoot native 6K videos. S1H makes up for all the shortcomings of S1. The two do have an obvious price difference. But I believe it will seriously affect S1 sales.

The Panasonic Lumix S1H can do 5.9K videos at 30p at 16:9 and the 6k videos are in 3:2 aspect ratio. This camera will definitely be a great choice for pro videographers and professionals as the pricing even if it’s high is still justifiable.
