During the Summer Game Fest held on June 9th, 2023, Ubisoft made an exciting announcement regarding the latest instalment in the Prince of Persia series, titled “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown”. This eagerly awaited game is slated for release on January 18, 2024, and will be available on multiple platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
As per Ubisoft, “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown” is a 2.5D action platform game that takes players on an enthralling new adventure in the fantasy world of Persia. The game allows players to take on the role of Sargon, a young and gifted warrior, and unlock a plethora of new powers and unique skills that enable them to manipulate time and space.
Maintaining the classic parkour, fighting, and puzzle-solving elements that are synonymous with the “Prince of Persia” series, “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown” promises to provide players with an abundant and thrilling experience, complete with side missions that are sure to add to the excitement.
Adding to the immersive experience of the game is the Persian-inspired soundtrack, created by the talented Iranian composer Mentrix in collaboration with the renowned composer Gareth Coker. The soundtrack beautifully blends traditional instruments with modern sounds that add to the overall ambience of the game.
Ubisoft also revealed that more details about the game will be unveiled during the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event on June 13. Additionally, there have been reports that the “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remastered Edition” is still in the conceptual stage, having undergone multiple delays and changes in developers.
