According to some recent tweets, RealMe is going to come with a 5G enabled smartphone by the end of this year!
#5GisReal …. Straight out of meeting room with Mr. Sky Li. Glad to share you our latest R&D updates: #realme will be among the first brands to bring 5G products globally this year. And we are determined to bring the best of technology to India as early as possible. pic.twitter.com/cVNOA6f9Iw

Madhav Sheth revealed Realme’s 5G plan on Twitter. He said that Realme will be one of the first mobile phone brands to use 5G networks and launch 5G mobile services worldwide. He also confirmed in the tweet that Realme’s 5G smartphone is currently in the research and development phase, and it will also be launched in India as much as possible.
Realme 5G smartphone: More updates!
On the 6th of this month, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued 5G commercial licenses to China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Radio and Television. Before the release of the 5G license, Realme showed the 5G layout, including 5G talent, 5G technology reserves and cooperation with 5G processor suppliers. Therefore, Realme will become one of the first manufacturers to launch 5G commercial mobile phones in China.
Indian 5G licenses aren’t out yet and would most probably require a year or more. So even if RealMe does come out with a 5G enabled smartphone by the end of this year it won’t have any supported 5G network for being tested!
So guys what do you think? Would any other brand be able to beat RealMe in bringing a 5G phone in a timely way to the Indian market? Do let us know your views in the comments section below!
