Samsung is reportedly testing the Galaxy A55 smartphone internally, as suggested by recent media coverage on September 23 and according to Dutch tech outlet Galaxy Club.
This device is said to boast an Exynos 1480 processor, codenamed “Rose,” and is anticipated to hit the market sometime next year. Furthermore, the Exynos 1480 processor has the model number S5E8845, as revealed in the editor’s note.
It’s worth mentioning that the Exynos 1380 processor has the model number S5E8835, while the Exynos 1280 processor uses the model number S5E8825.
Additionally, rumors indicate that the Galaxy A55 shares similarities with the Galaxy A54, including a 50-megapixel primary camera. However, details regarding the remaining camera specs remain uncertain at present.
It’s been reported that the Galaxy A55 might share some similarities with the Galaxy S23 FE, specifically featuring a 10-million-pixel front camera upgrade.
Notable features of the Galaxy A55 include a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, stereo speakers, IP67 dust and water resistance, and protective Gorilla Glass on both the front and back.
