According to recent reports, tech giant Samsung is gearing up to launch their latest wearable device, the Galaxy Ring, which is expected to take center stage at the upcoming Galaxy S24 launch conference in January.

Previous rumors suggested that the smart ring was still in development, but new information indicates that mass production is set to begin as early as August, with sales projected to start sometime in the following year.
The South Korean electronics powerhouse has joined forces with Japan’s Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd. (MEIKO), who will handle the manufacturing process for the ring’s PCB. Once released, the device will carry the name Galaxy Ring and cater primarily to the health and augmented reality markets, offering users an improved alternative to the existing Galaxy Watch.

Samsung has already filed several trademark applications in both the US and Europe, including “Samsung Curio,” “Samsung One,” “Samsung Rhythm,” “Samsung Pulse,” “Samsung Circle,” “Galaxy Insight,” “Galaxy Index” and “Galaxy Circle”. While the exact specifications of the Galaxy Ring remain under wraps, the upcoming Galaxy S24 series of smartphones will likely serve as the main focus during the January event.

Online leakster @IceUniverse recently disclosed details about the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 Ultra model, flaunting a massive 6.8-inch (or rather 6.78-inch) display boasting a crisp 3120x1440p resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an impressive peak brightness of 2500 nit.
Moreover, the Galaxy S24 Ultra features a sturdy titanium alloy frame and weighs only 233 grams, measuring 162.3mm x 79mm x 8.6mm in dimensions. Stay tuned for further updates regarding Samsung’s cutting-edge offerings and innovative products!
