Snapchat Lens Explorer is here, but is it too little, too late?

Another addition to an already dead app?

Snapchat has now introduced a new feature known as lens explorer. Using these feature you can explore and use thousands of lens built by Snapchat app users around the world. If you want to create your own lens you can visit Lens Studio anytime!

In order to use the Lens explorer you have to just tap on the new icon which appears when the Lens carousel is active in the app. Just tap on a lens tile to unlock any lens and then you will be taken directly to the Snap camera application, or you can browse lensese in the featured stories! Unlock any lens just by swiping up on Snaps present in these stories.

Since Lens Studio was launched in late 2017, a lot of creators have submitted over 1 lakh unique Lenses, which have been seen by a lot of Snapchat users more than 2.5 billion times. Now, with the inclusion of the Lens explorer, these Community lenses would be discoverable along side the Lens Carousel in the Snap app, making the whole process of finding new lenses easier and more intuitive.

As of now the Lens explorer would only be available on iOS devices at launch!

So are you still a Snapchat user? Personally we at Inspire2Rise stopped using it a long time ago! Do let us know in the comments section below whether you are interested in using this new feature or not!
