According to Jon Prosser, the host of the YouTube digital channel Front Page Tech, Google is set to launch its Google Pixel 7a smartphone on May 10th. The device is rumoured to carry a price tag of $499, as reported by an additional source. The Google Pixel 7a will be equipped with a 64-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens while the Pixel 6a was equipped with a 12.2-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. There is also a screen refresh rate increase from 60Hz to 90Hz. The Google Pixel 7a will introduce wireless charging to the Pixel series for the first time. The Google Pixel 7a looks almost the same as the Pixel 6a. It features a 6.1-inch OLED display with a front-facing camera and a punch-hole design with a slightly wider border. The most noticeable difference is that the Google Pixel 7a features a horizontal strip module with a groove from the rectangular module of the Pixel 6a, which looks more stylish. In addition, the Google Pixel 7a's body material has undergone an upgrade, moving from plastic to metal. Additionally, the camera module has been switched from glass to matte aluminium. Aside from the changes to the camera module, The camera module has been updated from glass to matte aluminium. The Google Pixel 7a has also undergone upgrades to its build quality.
