It's been confirmed that Samsung didn't launch new wireless headphones at their Unpacked event in South Korea towards the end of July this year, but they are certainly working on the upcoming Gen Z Galaxy Buds, though the exact release date still remains a mystery. But, real-life images of this wireless headset have recently surfaced on the website of Korea's Radio Research Agency (RRA), making headlines! It's actually the first real-life image of Samsung's next-gen wire-free headphones. They were approved by RRA just a couple of weeks back. Their model number is SM-R400N. Although nothing official has been announced yet regarding the name, based on previous trends it might be called Galaxies Buds 3. Let's refer to them as such for convenience, moving forward. According to the pics uploaded on the RRA site, Samsung's latest earbuds look more like the predecessor generation Icon_X and Galaxy Buds+ launched in 2020, instead of the Buds 2 & Buds 2 Pro that came after those. One wonders if they might stick with calling them Galaxy Buds 2 plus, but only time will tell! These snapshots reveal that they’ve opted for a matte surface, accompanied by what appears to be a rubberized layer covering the lower portion of each bud along with a signature aspect design element - a prominent 'wing tip.' No pictures of the charging case have leaked yet; furthermore, there isn't much info available regarding battery performance or features associated with these up-to-date headphones.
