Tamron has revealed plans to launch its inaugural lens for the Canon RF mount, named the 11-20mm F2.8 Di III-A RXD (model B060), tailored for APS-C frame mirrorless cameras and set to release in 2024.

The 11mm end allows for a minimum shooting distance of 0.15 meters, achieving a maximum photography magnification of 1:4, making it possible to capture wide-angle macro shots with noticeable perspective distortion effects.

Equipped with the RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) motor, this lens promises quiet and reliable auto-focusing for both photography and videography.

Additionally, it features simple weather resistance and an anti-fouling coating, enhancing its durability for outdoor use.
