What are the documents required to purchase Paytm FASTag?
Unlike other banks, we do not ask for a long list of documents. Individual vehicle owners buying FASTag for their commercial vehicles need to submit a proof of RC. Corporate companies need to additionally provide proofs for GST Certificate, cancelled cheque, ID proof/ PAN Card.

Activation and recharge process

How to use Paytm FASTag?
It just takes just three steps to start using our FASTag. Here you go…
Step 1: Affix the tag on your vehicle’s windshield.
Step 2: Add sufficient money to your Paytm Wallet using UPI or from any bank account.
Step 3: Enter the dedicated FASTag lane at NHAI Toll Plaza. The reader at the plaza will read your tag’s detail and applicable toll charges will automatically get deducted from your Paytm wallet.

The cost varies depending upon the vehicle type. It can be broken down into the one-time tag joining fee (Rs. 100), security deposit (Rs. 250) and the minimum balance (threshold amount) that needs to be maintained. Here’s the detailed list:

- 5- Light Commercial Vehicle– 2 axle: Rs. 200
- 6- Bus– 3 axle: Rs. 350

- 7- Bus– 2 axle/ Minibus, Truck– 2 axle: Rs. 250
- 12- Tractor/ Tractor with trailer, Truck 4, 5 & 6 axle: Rs. 450
- 15- Truck 7– axle and above: Rs. 550
- 16- Earth Moving/ Heavy Construction Machinery: Rs. 650
- The re-issuance fee is Rs. 100 for all types of commercial vehicles.
